About

My name is Liz Gill and I have been operating as LCI Proofreading & Editing Services for over four years. I will usually liaise with you directly and edit your project myself, however, during busy periods I may put you in contact with an equally experienced colleague.

I studied English language and literature at degree level, where I achieved a high 2:1, and completed an MA in Modern History at the University of Leeds, where I achieved a merit. I also completed a variety of courses through the SfEP and the Publishing Training Centre, specialising in proofreading and editing.

My specialist fields are history, social sciences, business and management, but I am willing to read work from most disciplines.

My colleague is Sue Critchley, and if I am unable to attend to your work, you may be directed to Sue to complete the proofreading. Sue studied and obtained a 2:1 BSc in Psychology and Criminology and then went on to study an MSc in Human Resource Management which was accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Sue went on to work for over 5 years within a training environment and was responsible for the proofreading and publishing of training materials, documentation and electronic resources. Sue's specialist fields are therefore social sciences, business and management and training.
