About

Liz Gill

I have been operating as LCI Proofreading & Editing Services for over five years. I will usually liaise with you directly and edit your project myself, however, during busy periods I may put you in contact with an equally experienced colleague.

I studied English language and literature at degree level (2:1) and completed an MA in Modern History at the University of Leeds (Merit). I also completed a variety of courses through the SfEP and the Publishing Training Centre, specialising in proofreading and editing.

My specialist fields are history, social sciences, business and management, and UK tax, but I am willing to read work from most disciplines.

Sue Critchley

If am unable to attend to your work, you may be directed to Sue to complete the proofread. Sue studied and obtained a 2:1 BSc in Psychology and Criminology and then went on to study an MSc in Human Resource Management which was accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Sue went on to work for over 5 years within a training environment and was responsible for the proofreading and publishing of training materials, documentation and electronic resources. Sue currently also works with a number of companies to provide training booklets and run training courses.

Myriam Birch

Myriam also works with LCI Proofreading at certain times. Myriam obtained a 1st class BA and an MA in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford. Myriam is an experienced proofreader and copy-editor, who is also fluent in French and provides translation services.
